I was a kid when Pops taught me the lesson that built everything else. I came home after a bad day at school. Pops pulled me onto his lap. He told me to keep going. Keep trying. Never Turner Round. I have carried those words ever since. They became my life motto. Later, they became my brand. I went on to graduate from cooking school. I was proud of that. It was proof I could finish something. Then came addiction. I will not dress that up. It took ground from me that I had earned, and it did not ask permission. Then I got locked up. That was the bottom. I sat with it. I did not run from it and I did not make excuses for it. Pops's words were still there when I got quiet enough to hear them. Keep going. Keep trying. So I did. I earned my CDL at 160 Driving Academy. No shortcuts. Just work, one day at a time, facing forward. Today I am a flatbed owner-operator. I run WTI Transport, LLC under Boyd Bros. I am a father of five from Mobile, Alabama, and I am building an empire. Not overnight and not loudly. One load at a time. I do not hide the hard parts of my story. They are the reason the rest of it means anything. Every mile I run, I run it for my kids, for Pops, and for the man who decided not to turn around. Forward is the only direction. No regrets. Only progress.
